Yours In Hip Hop

Supa CDQ, Formally Known As Linda Dlamini Is One of Eswatini's Finest Hip Hop Djs. He Has Played Along The Likes Of AKA, Simmy, Black Motion, Reason, Busiswa, Just To Name A Few. He Was Born And Raised In Mbabane, Eswatini, Where He Did His Primary Education At St Francis Primary School, His High School Education At St Marks High School And Finished Off At Swazi National School. He Then Furthered And Did His Tertiary At Emergency Medical Rescue College.

Supa Says Since He Was Young, He Has Always Been Surrounded By Music Lovers. The First One Being His Father Who Loved Playing music In The House, More Especially On Weekends. From Jazz To Soul and RnB. His Uncle, Bonez Who Is A Radio Dj On EBIS, Used To Give Linda Access To His Computer That Had A Wide Range Of Music Genres. That’s Also Where He Used Make His First Mixes After He Learnt Some Deejaying Basics From His Brother, Yugo.

The Well Renowned Dj Says He Fell In Love With Music Because Music Makes Everything Easy. You Can Attest To That, You Easily Get Work Done When You Listen To Music, Walks Are More Enjoyable As Well. He Loves Hip Hop Because It Has No Hidden Expressions. It’s About A Person Rapping Over A Beat With A Message Unlike Instrumental Music Where You Only Just Bop Your Head And Listen To Different Elements.

"The Thought Of Producing My Own Music Lives Rent Free In My Mind because it’s Something I really Want But Because Of Time Constraints, It’s Been Quite A Challenge Squeezing It All In. But Then, It’s Never Too Late". He Mentions.

Supa CDQ Says He Always Tries To Keep It Original As Possible And Just Be Himself When He Prepares His Sets To Play At Shows. He Plays What He Believes Can Move The Crowd. He  Also makes Sure He knows The Kind Of A Crowd He'll Be Playing For So That He Can Accommodate Everyone’s Music Taste In An All In One Set And For Every Soul.

Although Supa CDQ Is amazing With Graphics, He Says That He Doesn’t Call Himself A Graphics Designer Yet Because He Mostly Does It for His Own Benefits. He Does Anything That Needs Graphics For Himself Because He Knows What He Wants And How He Wants It. "But Fully Penetrating The Graphics Side Of Art Is Something I Want. The Full Get Into And Do On The Side Soon! That’s A Talent And Gift I still Want To Show The World. It’s Part Of Being A Creative Anyway". He Excitedly Says.

As The Country Is Yet Again Faced With A National
Partial Lockdown, Supa States That It’s Really Sad That We Have To Go Back To Lockdown, Which Means More Restrictions Again, But At The End Of The Day, Everyone’s Health Comes First.

"To My Brothers And Sisters Being Affected By All This I would Say Let’s Pray More, Hope For The Best, Go Back To Our Drawing Boards And Sharpen Our Tools To Come Back With Brighter Ideas And Crafts When The World Is Back To It’s Normal State. Tough Times Never Last". He Heartfully Says.

Supa Concludes By Emphasizing That We Can Expect More Growth, More Music, More Creative Content, A Business Side Of Supa CDQ And Even More More More Good Vibes In The Next Few Months!

With That Being Said, Let's Live In 2021!
